POSITION: Learning and Development Supervisor (For Back Office)

JOB SUMMARY
The L&D Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and implementing end-to-end learning and development programs for employees within the MO/SCU Division, ensuring timely execution and achievement of development objectives. The role works closely with line managers to assess learner performance and continuously update training content to meet evolving competency requirements and maximize on-the-job application.
In addition, this position is responsible for Performance Management System (PMS) administration, Individual Development Plan (IDP) implementation, and succession talent development programs, ensuring all initiatives are executed effectively and aligned with organizational goals.
MAIN DUTIES
1. Ensure Training Programs Are Delivered Effectively and On Schedule
- Organize and coordinate training programs according to the approved training plan.
- Manage training logistics within the approved budget, including training venues, refreshments, training materials, and other related arrangements for trainers and participants.
- Prepare and submit training reports in compliance with SLA requirements.
2. Monitor and Evaluate Employee Competencies
- Guide employees and managers in applying learned knowledge and skills to the workplace and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Conduct and monitor post-training assessments according to the established training schedule and application timeline.
- Advise managers and recommend additional development programs when necessary.
- Update and communicate training application assessment results to managers within the required timeline.
3. Update Training Programs and Learning Content
- Continuously review and update training content for the MO/SCU Division to improve learning effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain e-learning content for MO/SCU employees.
- Stay updated on modern learning methodologies, assessment tools, and competency evaluation approaches.
4. Develop and Enhance Training Materials
- Conduct training needs analysis for the MO/SCU Division.
- Proactively recommend learning solutions based on JBVN‘s competency framework and business requirements from functions/departments.
- Design, develop, and update assigned training programs and materials.
- Roll out and facilitate new learning content across the MO/SCU Division.
5. Manage Key Talent and Successor Development Activities
- Advise, guide, and collaborate with HRBPs and line managers in setting up, monitoring, and evaluating annual PMS and IDP processes through the system.
- Provide career development guidance and IDP planning support for Key Talents and Successors, aligned with organizational succession needs and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate annual Talent Review processes to assess readiness levels and potential of Key Talents and Successors.
- Maintain and update Talent Pool data on the HR Dashboard, ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and support for strategic workforce decisions.
- Analyze workforce data to identify Key Talents, High Potentials, and Successors, providing insights for talent planning and development initiatives.
6. Other Responsibilities
- Maintain and update monthly training records, training history, and application assessment results.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
1.Education
- Bachelor‘s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
2.Experience
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or related HR functions.
- Experience in the F&B industry is preferred.
3.Training / Licenses / Certifications
- Relevant certifications in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Training Design, Coaching, or related areas are an advantage.
