- New Product Development and innovation exiting Products/ Processes
- Developing formulations for new products as agreed calendar or improving existing ones
- Develop new product profile for R&D library
- Set up technical standards for raw materials and finished products, product shelf life
- Supplier Development for raw materials and packaging for new products
- Develop production/ store process for new products
- Drives innovation for exiting products and processes
- Establish Product Standards, Gold Standard (GS)
- Drives sustainable GS
- Transfer technical knowledge, processes, and documentation to QA and Production departments
- Responsible for inspecting new raw materials in the first three batches to ensure suppliers meet agreed technical standards
- Supply Chain Support
- Develop Third-Party Supplier as FG Production Outsourcing: apply full process of technical and product improvement
- Responsible for studying the production feasibility of new or improved projects
- Responsible for studying the quality of products over their shelf life
- Ensure that raw materials and finished products comply with local food regulations and Jollibee‘s guidelines and specifications
- Analysis and define current production issues with QA/ Production/SE and propose solutions to improve product quality and consistency
- Take part in evaluating/studying food production equipment and processing technology used in finished products for upgrades and updates
- Serve as a member of the sensory evaluation panel, with strong sensory skills and represent the local market
- Technical support for Store
- Responsible for setting up product operating parameters for newly used or upgraded equipment at stores
- Responsible for inspecting, researching, and proposing changes or updates to improve product quality and consistency
- Alternative sources and Cost saving
- Proposing, and ranking suitable alternative raw material sources for production or in-store use
- Responsible for conducting product industrialization trials to ensure production line feasibility and assess raw material samples for substitution or improvement
- Implement the establishment of technical standards for raw materials from new suppliers
- Supervise inspection of new raw materials in the first batch to ensure suppliers comply with the agreed technical standards
- Technical system management
- Review Finished good/ raw material/packaging specifications/ process flow according to VN regulations.
- Review R-HACCP/GS documentation
- Drive continuous improvements to enhance system effectiveness.
- Cross functional – collaboration
- Take a lead technical role, planning and coordinating timelines with other departments. Work with QA/QMRS/ SE/ Operation to define quality standards and resolve.
Requirements:
- University degree or higher in Food Technology or related field.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000
- Computer basic knowledge: MS. Word, MS. Excel, MS. PowerPoint
- Intermediate level in English
- Analytical thinking, creative, attention to detail, cooperative, good communication skills. Enthusiastic, able to work under pressure, committed to responsibility

Main workplace: R&D Lab (95 Le Quang Dinh Street, Binh Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh city)Others: Main Office (Binh Thanh Ward), Commissary (Can Giuoc, Long An), Store and occasional business trips to supplier
- Working hours: Mon to Sat, overtime when required. On Saturdays, employees may work onsite or WFH depending on business needs
