1. Job Responsibilities
Product Development & Innovation
- Develop new product formulations and improve existing products.
- Establish product specifications, technical standards, shelf life, and Gold Standards (GS).
- Develop production/store processes for new products.
- Evaluate and qualify raw materials, packaging, and suppliers.
- Transfer technical knowledge and documentation to QA and Production teams.
Technical & Production Support
- Assess feasibility of new products and process improvements.
- Monitor product quality throughout shelf life.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support evaluation of processing technologies and production equipment.
- Participate in sensory evaluation and product benchmarking.
Store Operations Support
- Set operating parameters for new or upgraded equipment.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance product quality and consistency.
Cost Saving & Alternative Sourcing
- Identify and qualify alternative raw materials and suppliers.
- Conduct industrial trials and raw material substitution studies.
- Establish technical standards for new suppliers and monitor compliance.
Quality System Management
- Review and maintain product specifications, process flows, HACCP, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with food regulations and company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Lead technical projects and coordinate timelines with QA, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, and Operations teams.
2. Job Requirements
- Bachelor‘s degree in Food Technology or related field.
- 3 years of experience in R&D, Product Development.
- Experience in food manufacturing, preferably meat processing.
- Strong knowledge of meat processing technologies, including marination, freezing, cooking, yield optimization, and product quality improvement.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and food regulations.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
